Hello,

I'm wondering if you might be available for consultation on an hourly basis. I tried implementing your "safer forms without CAPTCHA" solution but I am primarily a web designer, not a programmer. By the way, I loved your disclaimer re: fee downloads - that was quite entertaining to read. :)

Thanks,
Darcie Fulkerson,

Kniaz,
Yes, I have been hearing that Opera doesn't play well with older versions of jQuery. I'm guilty of not updating the jQuery on this site to the most recent version, and testing across multiple browsers -- one of those things I know I should do yet don't even seem to find the time to do it.

That's not an excuse, just a fact.

The unfolding/changing size effect on main page of "15 days..." doesn't work in Opera (v9) and is clipped at bottom in Firefox (1.5.0.7) and IE, so that last part of the text is invisible :-)
But besides of that - great page, congratulations.

The home page of your site doesn't give a link to your contact form... at least not one that I can find.

Jack:

Thank you for these tutorials. For someone just starting to appreciate JavaScript, AJAX and the DOM, they have been just what I needed.

I've got a small problem with the Safer Contact Forms Without CAPTCHAS, however. When I run my contact form through Safari, it gives me the error message that JavaScript is required. Even when it's turned on. I also ran through the tutorial to make sure I hadn't made my own coding mistake, but same thing.

I'm testing this on Mac OS 10.3.9, and Safari 1.3.2, it might work properly in Safari 2.0.

I suspect it's an error or bug in the way Safari is interpreting the DOM, but that's an educated guess only in name.

If you have any ideas or thoughts, I would greatly appreciate them. Also, please excuse the mess on my personal website in Explorer, I just uploaded last night and need to tweak the Explorer only CSS.

Thank you,
